Lateral Bench Jumps

This is an aerobic exercise targeting the heart and lungs

• Stand with the bench on your left hand side
• Place your left foot in the centre of the top of the bench - ensure your knee is over your ankle
• Bend your supporting leg slightly as you sit back
• Push through the heel of your foot on the bench
• Jump up moving sideways and land with your right foot on top of the bench and your left foot on the floor
• On landing, bend your the knees and keep your back straight
• Breathe naturally through the movement
• Repeat the opposite way
