National School Meals Week is here! A full week of activity is launched today by Colin Jackson, BBC Sport commentator and former World Champion in the 110 metres Hurdles, and Beverley Baker, Chair of LACA.
Over the last few months we have been on the hunt to find Britain's most popular school meal. The winner was Roast Dinner with Sponge and Custard. Other popular dishes include Sausage and Mash and Apple Crumble. You can see the full results and the regional variations on the map below.

The launch day at Morpeth School in Bethnal Green was a huge success. Colin Jackson is a star and he was brilliant in everything he did. The students were thrilled to meet him and asked some fantastic questions. And we must not forget the school caterers who prepared a delicious lunch featuring Britain's favourite school meal. Well done and thank you to everyone.
