Competition Entry

Send us your Get Filming entry. Create an advert that promotes healthy eating and school meals to other students at your school or college. It should be no more than 30 seconds long and you need to upload it to the Internet. Then provide a link to the ad on the form below so the judges can view it and enter the rest of your details.

What can you win?

  • First prize is £350
  • Second prize is £250
  • And there are five £100 prizes too!
  • All the prizes will be in the form of a cheque made payable to the person identified on the entry form.

Competition Rules
1. The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. The prizes are a cheque for £350 to the winner, £250 for the second place and five further prizes of £100. No alternatives will be offered. The prize must be shared amongst those that created the entry.
3. The competition will run from 11th November until the 29th January 2010.
4. Entrants must complete all the details requested in the competition entry form.
5. All people filmed must have been cleared to appear on the Internet.
6. No copyright protected music may be used in the advert.
7. Only one entry will be accepted per person.
8. Only entries completed on this form will be permitted.
9. Entries will only be accepted from students attending a secondary school or college in England, Wales and Scotland that are under 19 on 1st September 2009.
10. The information provided on the competition form will only be used in the competition judging process and for the awarding of prizes.
11. LACA will not accept any responsibility for lost entries and late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
12. Entrants must abide by all the rules of the competition and if an entry is received they will be deemed to have agreed to accept the rules as stated.
13. LACA reserves the right to cancel the competition if the need arises or there are any unforeseen circumstances.
14. The competition is governed by the laws of the country.
15. LACA will be allowed to use the videos entered to promote school meals, healthy eating and National School Meals Week.
16. We will not pass on any personal details without the entrant's permission except for the awarding of prizes.
17. Judging will take place during the week commencing 1st February 2010.
18. The winners will be announced on this website by 12th February 2010. They will also be notified by email.
19. In the event of a tie for 1st and 2nd the prize will be shared.
